The start of Chicken Scratch Feeders & Supplies, was simply kicked off by my love for my chickens (aka My Girls).

Although I absolutely adored my girls, I did not much care for the Chicken Feeder options available. I tried many different types of Chicken Feeders available both in Feed Stores and Online... ground feeders, hanging feeders, trough feeders, and standard bowls; none of which solved my problems.

After spending countless dollars attempting to find a solution to minimize feed waste, avoid constant Coop cleaning, and eliminate the odor of fermented feed, I decided to design my own Chicken Feeder. A Chicken Feeder that above all other Feeders on the market would stretch my dollar, and make being with my girls much more enjoyable.

The benefits of Chicken Scratch Feeders & Supplies, Chicken Feeder are plenty. Not only does my Chicken Feeder minimize feed waste, but I also designed it so it would make a natural place for my girls to sharpen and clean their beaks on the angles of my Feeder trough cutouts. My Feeder is easy to refill, easy to clean, made out of galvanized metal for corrosion resistance, and does not sag with the weight of the feed.

I am proud to have designed a functional Chicken Feeder, that has proven to do exactly what I had intended it to do, and more.

Having my Feeder manufactured in the USA was very important to me. As such, I found a local manufacturer in Texas to produce my Feeder.
