I admit... I am a full fledge Chicken lover.

I have come to learn that each of my girls has their own distinct personality, and that is what I adore about them.

Meet 'Skeeter'

Skeeter is by far the most photogenic of the bunch. She tends to be tough on the exterior, but is an absolute softy when it comes down to it. Every evening she sits outside on the patio table as I work, drinks her water, ruffles and cleans her feathers, and just enjoys the company... I actually think she enjoys the quiet time away from the other girls the most.

Meet 'Mikey'

Mikey is my little independent spirit. She likes to do her own thing, isn't much of a cuddler, and is the first one ready to call it an evening. She's extremely curious, but knows her boundaries. My son named her 'Mikey' after the one eyed monster in the kid's movie 'Monsters, Inc.'. When we first got her she had a severe eye infection, and her right eye was completely swollen shut. After giving her probiotics for a few weeks she has thankfully regained use of both eyes... but will forever be called Mikey.

Meet 'Sprout'

Sprout is a big attitude in a little body. Although she is much smaller than my other girls, she can definitely hold her own. Sprout loves affection, flying around for as long as her little wings will allow, and thinks she is about 10 feet tall.

Meet 'Omlette'

Omlette is definitely a lover, not a fighter. She is a sweet, sociable little bird. She loves being held, and falls to sleep within minutes of you holding her. She absolutely loves baths, and will soak up any attention you give to her.

Meet 'Cooper'

Ok, so Cooper is not a Chicken... but I couldn't leave him out. Cooper is our big, adorable, sweet boy. He is scared of rain, lightening, or even the slightest the chance of rain or lightening, as well as his own shadow. Cooper is our smallest bundle of joy, in the biggest package.

Thanks for taking the time to meet my girls, and of course Cooper too. There will be many more additions to come.
